This notice explains, in line with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how we process the personal data you share with us through the 8042media.com website, contact form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp.

Personal data we process

• Identity: name and surname.
• Contact: e-mail address and, if you provide it, phone number.
• Customer transaction: company name, the service you are interested in and the content of your message.
• Marketing: the source that brought you to the website (e.g. search engine, social media, ad campaign).
• Transaction security: submission time and technical data recorded by the form provider to prevent spam (e.g. IP address).

• Responding to your enquiry, understanding your needs and preparing a proposal,
• Conducting pre-contract discussions,
• Measuring the effectiveness of our promotional channels,
• Ensuring information security and preventing spam,
• Fulfilling legal obligations.

Legal grounds and collection method

Your data is collected electronically via the website contact form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp, and processed under KVKK Article 5(2): being directly related to the establishment of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç) and our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f). Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your explicit consent; see our Cookie Policy.

Transfers

Limited to the purposes above and in line with KVKK Articles 8 and 9, your data may be shared with our website hosting, form and e-mail service providers (whose servers may be located abroad) and, upon request, with competent public authorities. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing.

Retention

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and for the periods required by law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed and request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction under Article 7 and notification of these actions to third parties, to object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
